At Visions, it is important to us that we enhance our partnership with credit unions by getting involved in the community. Some of our community activities include lending support to local businesses and other credit union vendors, participating as judges for scholarship competitions, working with school and church projects, and sponsoring youth sports. The following are a few of our recent endeavors.

Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run
This world-class race is held annually and benefits the Children's Miracle Network. Proceeds from race entry fees and individual fundraising efforts by credit unions and vendors go to support children's hospitals across the nation.

Visions is a sponsor at what is called a "Hero" level. We designed and maintain the main point of contact for participating credit unions at www.miracleday.org, where you can download free marketing materials including interactive Web ads, newsletter articles and art, and Web art. We also support this organization with printed marketing materials, electronic communications, and direct mailings. In addition to providing marketing support, Visions' staff members also run in the race.

Sam's Search: The Adventures of Sam the Crow
Sam's Search is a children's book, quite a departure from the field of financial products. The production team at Visions provided the editing, layout and printing.

"Sam" is special because it is a family collaboration and a dream come true. This story of friendship and acceptance was written by Pam Avery Yielding and illustrated by Angie Lee Talbott. These two women are Visions' president's cousin and sister, respectively.

Ms. Yielding reads Sam's Search to children in schools, bookstores and libraries. It is discounted for school fundraising projects and is used in conjunction with the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Run as a fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network.

Sarah's House
Sarah's House is a supportive housing program for homeless women, men, and children in Anne Arundel County, MD. The program provides case management, childcare, transportation, and employment services.

Several of our credit union clients volunteer their time for Sarah's House and help to organize a charity golf outing each year. Visions, Ink. is proud to sponsor this event which raises several thousand dollars for Sarah's House programs.
